Back Bending in the Flow
Back bending is the greatest joy in asana!
Spinal intelligence and core stability are required to get the best from Back bending. In this workshop you will learn technique to open your spine to feel depth and ease in your back bend.
The techniques will be worked into a dynamic back bending sequence. We will cover the basics of transitioning into ‘up-dog’ from ‘down-dog’ and look at how to progress into more advanced back bends. We use props and careful alignment to include many levels and find new openings.
Joining this workshop will take you deeper, awaken energy and help you to stay safe in as you develop.
Friday night will be a gentle flow class to open the back and prepare with inversions.
Saturday and Sunday will be technical and flow class that cover the essential tips for maximum joy in your back bending experience.
Being in every session will not be needed but those who come to all sessions will feel the gradual progression that improves their posture and understanding. Joining all three sessions will stabilise the techniques so you can remember and practice with greater fulfillment.
