Yoga Practice on land during Earth and Water Retreat
Peter draws on broad experience of practice to create a fusion of body, breath and mind into the experience of being. The aim of this retreat is to draw on the traditional practice of yoga and then innovating an approach to exploring movement in and under water.
On Earth and Water Retreat we will practice three main components of hatha yoga:
Meditation: is included on the retreat a little and often. Being still for a few moments will be a central focus for understanding the more radical explorations.
Pranayama: used here to harness the power of the breath to come into stillness and peace. The traditional practices will cleanse deeply and prepare you to feel at ease in the water and even under the water!
Asana: practiced here will be a contemplative approach to traditional hatha yoga postures. Themed sequences that build up a deeper understanding of the mechanics of the body connection to Earth.

Additional session available
One to One:
Peter is passionate about helping people get into self practice. One on one classes begin with an interview to assess the students needs, time pressures and other factors and ends in the development of a sequence to practice at home. The sequence is modular so it can be shorter or longer, easier or harder each day as required. Often more than one session is benificial, this way you can take away the sequence and try it, then come back for corrections and questions. When we have completed together you have a sequence suited to your needs that you feel confidant to continue with on your own.
This will be an additional cost to the body of the retreat and spaces will be limited.
