A class with Peter can take a variety of forms due to the spectrum of practices and influences he has had.
In a typical class the structured sequence would start softly to calm the nerves and warm up the body. The sequence soon takes us out of the comfort zone into measured intensity. Using centre of gravity and alignment to bring intelligence into the practice. It is during this demanding stage that the mental focus is really seen and it is here where we gain the most ‘improvements’ in strength and flexibility.
The structure of the class takes a unconscious body and a distracted mind through a transformation. Training the mind reveals the habits of the body. Educating the body movement patterns balances the nervous system, for clarity of perception.
Different sequences everyday target specific areas of restriction and dullness. Consistent reminders to focus -here and now- with the themed targets of the practice brings awareness into areas we have grown unconscious of.
By the end of the class we move towards inward practices, settling the nerves and the breath so we carry away with us after class a resounding effect through the body and awareness.

Teaching in different places inspires self practice In class we spend time practicing together, getting the idea, then it is time for Peter to move on….. It is then that you have time to put into action and refine what you’ve been learning.
When we practice together again your self practice has given you more opportunity for refinement and correction. This way we build up a solid foundation of experience in practice.
