Mitake is a sacred mountain and forest reserve. It feels a million miles from Tokyo but is only 2.5hrs train ride away.
We use this special time to enjoy nature and let our inner being rise into awakened state. Practice raises energy and clears toxins of mental and emotional level as well as purifying the body.

We practice the three main branches of Hatha Yoga: Meditation, Pranayama and Asana. This traditional yoga structure empowers clarity, increases vitality. Refined awareness helps us to perceive internal patterns of behavior enabling letting go. We feel bright clear and free.
Use this time to ask questions, make intentions or prayers. Join the sharing in the sanga (friends) or find peace alone in the nature all around. Simple living; sharing rooms, practice and meals. High living; remember the ease of living and breathing free, let the practice open your heart and see things anew.
You will need to bring mat shawl and warm yoga clothes. Also think about water proof clothing, touch and good shoes. (and dancing shoes?)
