Workshop Kanazawa

Two Yoga Workshop with Peter Roussel. 29 May 2012.

Partner Yoga and Thai Massage Workshop

… is a ‘hands-on’ (meaning practical) workshop to explore breathing and moving with your friends. Yoga postures bring your attention into your body, becoming aware of your breath gives you a connection with your inner experience. This is the starting point to explore the same postures with a partner, their weight, range of movement and sensitivity all affect the way you interact in active postures together. We are learning to read each other without judgment.

Then we take this heightened awareness of our self and the other into a short guided massage that will provide you with tools to feel and respond as you give massage. When we swap roles we then have the chance to whole heartedly receive the gift of touch.

This is simple and rewarded program to give you a taste of the ease of being. Open to all.

Yoga Practice evening Kanazawa 28 May

Yoga is an exploration inside. In us we find accurate guidance for our action in life and on the mat. Learning to pay accurate attention is at the core of the practice so we can hear what is alive in us. Knowing and acting on this inner wisdom produces beautiful fruits in life. I will give exact instructions about what this means and how to do it.
We then need the courage to go ahead with what we sense is true with in us. Asana, yoga postures, are a practice ground that build trust in this inner guidance and show that we have the strength to face the challenges of life.

You can expect to slow down, breath deep and feel yourself in a new way. You will experience your body and its limits and at the same time, challenging yourself to life more fully, love more fully and enjoy more fully, like climbing any beautiful mountain.
