Intensive Yoga practice evening that combines meditation and pranayama with asana.

Covering essential basic of Pranayama, this course will introduce the fundamentals of energising the body and clearing the mind with this ancient art of breathing.

  • Meditation will be introduced at the beginning and end of the workshop. Simple focus techniques in guided meditation will focus the mind and, with regular practice create a stable mental out look, no experience required.
  • The asana practice will form the most part of the sessions. Using careful techniques that balance the nervous system and connect you to your centre at the start of the class. This will progress into some alignment principles that build a foundation that can be used in the dynamic all-round posture sequence.
  • The combination of these practices constitutes the heart of traditional hatha yoga practice; the art and science of happiness, contentment and harmonious living.

    This is open to all levels except first timer yogis. Classes in English will have translation. Keen attention and dedication are more important than ability or experience.
