ONE DAY RETREAT
This full day yoga program with world class teacher in an off beat, intimate beach house in the dunes will get you into summer vibes. Tune out of what holds you back and lowers your life state and turn towards the things that take you to your happy place.
This is a full day program of yogic practice of posture, breath and concentration at beachshack het Puntje in Scheveningen. Enjoy a taste of how powerful a break away with these life giving skills can be. A retreat is not only a holiday but a charge to your power pack and clarity of mind, yoga twice a day, healthy food and sea air….
We create this refreshing retreat vibe with the art of breathing, moving and being; systems of art that support and deepen each other. Art in which you are the canvas.
Meditation clears the mind, deep breath energises the heart and the postures loosen everything up. Skilful but “Do-able” hatha yoga practice, guided by Peter’s 20 years experience will bring about a change the inside and put a smile on your face.

You will enjoy it better when you have done a years practice.
Peter will ask about injuries / limitations at the start, it’s important that you explain any limitations to him. Many restrictions can be accommodated.

The meal in the lunch break is organic and made with love from Het Puntje team. You can buy a lunch ticket when you buy your ticket (drinks after are extra).
There is an option to support a charity that educates in the slums of Bangalore in South India. Donate to India Share and 100% of donation goes to benefit the women and children, choose the amount you wish to share.
Het Puntje Beach Shack is cool. It’s remote chillout spot easy to access from the city. The food is excellent, staff are super cool and the living is easy.
There will be several long relaxations. 2 hrs lunch break gives time for digestion and beach walk.
For those interested Peter will give a short talk (20 mins) before the afternoon session on the place and significance of yoga in modern life in a info-tech world.
13:00 – Lunch (Provided)*
Arriving early is helpful so we can all settle into stillness for meditation.
*Quiet sitting is simple meditation, there will be some guidance to help you focus and then silent sitting. (no experience necessary)
*Pranayama is the art of linking awareness and energy. Careful breathing patterns build energy levels. We do two main sets of patterns; Fire rhythms build heat and focus; slow rhythms use deep slow breath to stabiles nervous system and clear the mind.
*Hatha classes are slower with alignment detail. Today the class will have restorative part and active part themed to educate.
*Flow means Vinyasa – dynamic breath and movement patterns. Putting the skills and awareness from the morning to the test. The vinyasa class will be dynamic, the body open, mind clear and breath smooth from the previous practices.
*Closing session with Pranayama and Meditation to ‘seal’ the practice and stabilise with Savasana (long relax).
*Keep time at the end to soak up vibes, have tea or a drink together, Het Puntje is the perfect place for a relaxed evening with friends with the sunset.
