The Practice

The yoga, the good people, yummy food, gardens and walks all serve one purpose. You will feel it ….

Peter provides 2 yoga classes per day. The classes are held indoors. Mornings will be in silence until after the yoga class.

The Gite

We have a beautiful gite booked, in Redu in Belgium, with a large space for our individual yoga practice. Beautiful gardens and cosy rooms make it a treat to stay here.

The gite can accommodate 12  guests. It has several bedrooms some with private shower and toilet. You can book a room for yourself (single room) or why not share the experience with someone you love in our shared rooms. If you like to share a room with someone you know, let us know when you book.

Nature

Yoga practice brings the senses alive; we perceive nature in more detail, sometimes the hidden sense of perfection can be revealed. The surrounding fields and forest provide for plenty of opportunity for fascination. Plan to spend time outdoors to absorb the impression of mother nature’s ways.

Arrival on Wednesday from on 16:00 and  the retreat ends on Sunday at 12:00.

Prices

  • €828 for a single room
  • €639 for a shared room

These prices include:

  • 2 yoga classes with Peter a day
  • silent meditation walks in nature
  • 2 healthy vegetarian meals a day
  • 4 nights at the gite in single or shared room

How to get there

The easiest way to get there is by car (3 hour journey). We support carpooling, so let us know if you have place available in your car or if you are looking for a ride.

You can also take a train to Dinant or Namur and arrange a taxi from the train station to the gite

Bookings are to be paid in full at time of booking. Making a payment means you agree with the terms and conditions.
Rooms will be allocated to guests.

Healthy, simple Meals

Vegetarian food

Two delicious simple meals will be served throughout the day. They will consist of rice, grain and vegetables with some salads. They will be spiced, when you have preference for more spice or less spice you can inform the cook.

Please inform in advance about any dietary requirements.

Meals will be served in group and enjoyed together. If you wish to eat in silence or seperately from the rest you may.

It would be nice to volunteer to support the kitchen staff in duties from time to time.

If you wish to eat between meals simply ask the kitchen staff for a snack. Meals can also be saved for you if you do not wish to eat at meal time.

A break for the nervous system

To provide a short break to the nervous system caffine and alcohol will not be served. It can be a good idea to quit consumption a few days leading up to the retreat (several days to a week is recommended). We also support digital detox during the retreat.There will be no desert served.

If you wish to have sweet after diner please bring to share.

All practice sessions, reflection sessions and meals are optional. Although full participation is encouraged you may choose to read or walk alone or just stay in bed during any of the sessions.

* Resting time can be used to sleep, walk, write, read etc
